It is that time of year when we start preparing for our annual walk around the Isle of Arran.
We have our stall already prepared for the Brodick Highland Games on the 4th August, that includes some new goodies for sale. The Games have been held on the Isle since 1886 and it is an incredible day with a wonderful atmosphere, from the Highland dancing to the Strong Man competition.
The walk this year will take in some new routes around the Isle and some old favourites including Goat Fell.
Our walkers have increased this year to 25 and we’ll hopefully have some additional visitors dropping by for a days walk. If you’d like to take part or give your support for a day please let us know, the more the merrier. Come along and enjoy the experience and beauty of the Isle of Arran.
