Joe Snell, 17 and Toby Halls, 15 recieved a Teen Hero award for their efforts to raise money for charities. This award was presented by Scott Mills and Chris Stark at Wembley Arena London on Sunday 23rd October 2016.
Both Joe and Toby were in a band set up by Arran and regularly busked outside Cancer Research Shop in Sudbury, Suffolk. Arran was keen to busk at a young age, however, he didnt want to do this on his own. When Arran passed away, Joe and Toby continued to Busk in Sudbury in Arran’s memory and also vounteered in the local Cancer Research shop to raise funds for both Cancer Research UK and The Smile of Arran Trust.
We were able to join Joe and Toby at the Teen awards, along with their family and friends. As a family, it was a great opportunity to promote awareness of our charity and tell our story to celebrities including: The Vamps, Scott Mills, Chris Stark, Greg James and many more.
We want to congratulate Joe and Toby once again for dedicating their time to raising money for charities close to their heart.
