As invited guests and having only known the family for a short period of time, it was not only an exceptional wedding day and a privilege to be there, but the Smile of Arran was overwhelmed by the thought and kindness that went into their support for the charity.
All who attended the wedding went away knowing much more about the charity and Arran, supplied with one of our wristbands and the Stopclocks CD. The children of the village also surprised the bride and groom by wearing Smile of Arran t-shirts designed for the day, giving the happy couple their own personalised t-shirt.
Barbara and Howard said that they knew after listening to Arran’s singing what their first dance was going to be, playing ‘stand by me’ sang by Arran and the Stopclocks. It was a very moving day.
