Ramsey Academy Aspiration Charity Week

Ramsey Academy Aspiration Charity Week
20th April 2016 Steve Tosh

As part of its Aspiration Charity Week, during the course of the academic year each House in Ramsey Academy supports their chosen charity and runs events for 1 week each. Between the 25th and 29th April Ramsey Academy will once again be supporting the Smile of Arran.

Staff and students are very much involved and a number of events have been planned throughout the week.

The staff and students have been creative in their fundraising and planned events, some of these include a Y-Ball tournament, Lip-sync and talent contest, a non-uniform day and a sponsored walk/run titled Miles for Smile(s) of Arran.

All week the students will be producing a Smile of Arran fingerprint tree canvas where students pay to put their fingerprints ‘leaf’ in their house colour on the tree.

Once again, the Smile of Arran is humbled and inspired by the fundraising at Ramsey Academy and are truly grateful for the on-going support and raising awareness of the charity.
