At the final count the Elizabeth School of Dance raised a staggering £1,382.46 for the Smile of Arran Trust.

On the 20th June, pupils from the Elizabeth School of Dance, in Hedingham Road, Halstead performed ‘Treasure’ their charity dance show at the Empire Theatre on Butler Road.

Treasure was a celebration dance show including ballet, Tap, Modern and Contemporary dance.

Friends with both Arran and Daisy, the proceeds of this charity show were shared between the Smile of Arran Trust and Do it for Daisy, DIPG Brain Cancer Research.

This is a dance group that Daisy loved being part of before she was diagnosed with an incurable DIPB brain tumour.

The dance was organised to celebrate Arran and Daisy’s life and raise monies for brain tumour research charities.
