Another exceptional fun day was organised by the manager of Hedingham United under 14’s Garry and his wife Kim Heather.
This annual event was kicked off with the local derby between Hedingham United and Halstead under 14’s football teams. Halstead scoring a last second goal to end the game in a 1 – 1 draw. This is now two years running that the teams have drawn, a whisper of a fix was mumbled from a manager who will remain nameless.
The day excelled last year’s fundraiser, with stalls, an auction, and fun events including performances from numerous musicians throughout the day that culminated with a fantastic performance from the Rockabellas, that had the crowd dancing in the rain.
The Trust once again would like to thank everyone involved who gave their time to make this event such an exceptional day and also to everyone who came out to support the charity and make this a magnificent community event.
